Great Surprise 80 days
Listed previously as "Hillbilly" we have since discovered that this prolific, medium sized slicer doesn't match the description of the Heritage Hillbilly on any database, and have therefore given it a name (in the interim) to identify it in our seed collection. Never the less, this variety shows a beautiful bright red blush over orange and a bright yellow interior with a mild fruity taste to finish the package.

Kellog's Breakfast (from West Virginia) 90 days
An extra large bright orange and meaty Heritage beefsteak tomato. Low acid, mild and slightly sweet.

Limmony (from Russia) 85 - 90 days
An impressively large Heritage beefsteak, this yellow tomato has an occasional red blush at the blossom end which does nothing to mar it's clear lemon yellow interior. Juicy with good low acid flavour.

A large golden Heritage beefsteak with red marbled flesh. Very prolific for the size of the fruit and luscious semi-sweet flesh. The slices have been described as looking at roses.

A beautiful dark pink Heritage beefsteak. Juicy with good tomato flavour.

Orange Banana 75 - 80 days
Pale orange skin covers bright orange flesh on this Heritage saladette tomato. Great flavour that is meant for fresh eating, yet is meaty enough for sauces. Paired with Yellow Bell, it makes for an awesome fresh salsa.

Prolific, large and bright orange. This sauce tomato combined with Heritage Power's Heirloom and Red Roma makes for a colourful fresh salsa. Imagine serving orange tomato soup!

Indische Fleish (from East Germany) 80 days
The name seems to have been Anglised somewhat. A beautiful brick red/ mahogany Heritage slicing tomato. Although the picture is poor, this tomato is similar in appearance to Paul Robeson, though the red is more apparent. Excellent rich and complex flavours typical of the "blacks".

- Tomatoes are best started 6 to 8 weeks before your last spring frost and planted into warm soil.
- The maturity date is roughly when you can expect ripe fruits after planting out.
- Weather impacts both the flavour and maturity date to a large degree.
